Internal & External.
In 1986 I was asked by a friend one night over a beer in a local pub if I could restore his 15th century cob cottage in Winterbourne Whitechurch, Dorset and thus began my love affair with cob and lime plastering. At the time this was a lost art so meant I had to do a lot of research to find out how and why (and where to source) the old materials were used. Since then I have restored over 50 ancient/historic properties throughtout the south of England and France and now have had the pleasure of restoring several historic buildings in this country including a couple of 'living museums'.

"I would highly recommend Mike for any plastering job. I found him to be very professional and thorough in his approach to his work, He took the time to ask me lots of questions to ensure he was doing what I was asking him to do. And he was very attentive to his work. He took the time to make sure the job was done well & correctly. He paid alot of attention to detail. And..he did what he said he would do. He's a man of his word. These qualities in one's workmanship are very important to me & Mike definitely ticked all the boxes for a professional, qualified, excellent job. And....he's really friendly!
